Responsibilities
• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager• Supervise and coach associates to achieve productivity expectations• Promote a culture reflective of our Brand Strategy and Culture• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results• Provide outstanding customer service and offer solutions to exceed customer expectations• Control store expenses and ensure department appearance, quality, and safety standards are maintained• Write schedules to provide extraordinary customer service• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies• Monitor shrink and prevent losses• Utilize advertising and sales promotion materials
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred• Ability to lead and manage a team• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements• Ability to solve problems using technical information• Must meet minimum age requirements• Accreditation as a 'Certified Food Safety Manager' or willingness to achieve accreditation within first 90 days of employment• Physical ability to perform job functions
