The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel processes from recruiting through exit interviews.

Oversee Recruiting and Oversee Documentation and Oversee Payroll Oversee Reporting Tracking of Worker's Compensation and Insurance Proactive in Local Jurisdiction HR Laws and Regulation.Coordinate Corrective Action
" Supports Managers and Department Leaders in completing, processing and filing of incident reports, corrective action documentation, personal improvement plans, and terminations.

o Coordinates with Command HR Department.

Supports department heads in conflict Works with Command Human Resources on legal issues as Coordinates Personnel Development Coordinates Employee Coordinates Special Family Communicates with Command Human Resource, HRIS and Finance Departments as Assist with TSA audits in regards to personnel Is back up to all HR "The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.

" Additional Information Minimum Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education:

A college degree in business administration or human resource training; and five years of experience in industry with duties including supervision and recruitment; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Certifications:

Must hold a Valid Driver's License and be able to drive a Salvation Army Vehicle.

Skills/Abilities:

Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
Is able to create spreadsheets in excel.
Is able to learn to use the current payroll and finance programs being used by The Salvation Army.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Supervises processes and employees responsible for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, drug screening, claims and compliance.

Responsible for the recruiting, interviewing and recommending for hire of HR Staff.
Schedules and approves time and attendance for Human Resource Staff.

Physical requirements include: good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity.

Lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 25 pounds.
Requires bending, squatting and walking.

May stand/sit for extended periods.

Travel:

Will travel for training or recruiting.
Will travel to various locations to train and support management with Human Resource functions.

Working Conditions:

Work is mostly performed in a typical office environment but at time will be in a warehouse or store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather.
This is a Full-time Exempt position; require some weekend and evening work.
