Job Summary *Nanny/Household Manager*
Start Date: As soon as the perfect fit is found! Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours/week; Hours similar to Mondays/Fridays, 7 am - 6 pm; Tuesdays/Thursdays, 7 am - 12 pm; Wednesdays 4 pm - 11 pm | OR part-time option of Guaranteed 20 hours/week; Hours between 7 am - 5 pm Mondays and Fridays Hourly Rate: $30-35 Children: 9 and 6-year-old sisters Pets: One Cat Paid Vacation: One week nanny's choice, one week family's choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays; prorated for part-time hours Responsibilities and Duties WHO/WHAT: Would you agree that some spatulas are better than others? Calling all hobby chefs! These culturally diverse parents want a nanny who knows their way around a kitchen. Mom and Dad both work outside the home in very demanding jobs and need some bandwidth. That's where you come in to provide optimal care to their two daughters, ages six and nine. You'll work a variety of shift times and lengths, so flexibility is key. During that time, you'll serve as a fun, caring role model, helping the daughters become self-sufficient, confident, and happy young ladies. You'll assist with getting them ready for school, packing healthy lunches, and—if needed—transportation to school and extracurriculars. After school, you can help the girls clean out their backpacks, do their homework, practice piano, or accompany them to activities and outings. Get ready to let your imagination run wild as both daughters love dressing up and engaging in creative play with their stuffed animals. These busy parents want multi-faceted relief in a supportive role. This includes assistance with the children's laundry, dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning the trash bins, general tidying, and we can't highlight this one enough: QUALITY healthy meal prep. There are no allergies, you don't need to know how to swim, and there's a kitty who'll need the water dish top-up. You'll have the option to catsit when the family goes out of town. For the right nanny, this position could last for three years or more, and those with educational backgrounds get bumped up to the front of the pack.
