We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team.
Job Description: As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist at ProCare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop effective communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges.
You will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create and implement individualized therapy plans that support academic and social success.
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students needs and progress.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
Provide one-on-one and/or group therapy sessions to students in various settings (classroom, therapy room).
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and strategies for support at home.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.
Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred but not required Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
