Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a General Manager - Food for a high-profile client located in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate must have catering experience.
This position offers a predominately Monday through Friday schedule.
We are looking for candidates who will: have oversight of day-to-day operationsdeliver high quality food serviceimplement Sodexo systems and programs, and oversee training of staffcontinuously evaluate service to ensure student and client satisfactiondrive employee engagement and student satisfaction through strong leadership skillsintegrate fully within our client's organization and be a trusted advisor with a customer service focusachieve company and client financial targets and goalsdevelop and maintain strong client and customer relationshipsdevelop strategic planscreate a positive environmentensure Sodexo Standards are metThe ideal candidate will have: two or more years previous food service management experience ideally in hospitality or high-end restaurantsstrong financial skillsa strong background in safety and sanitation compliancea work history demonstrating strong leadership and hospitality skills and the ability to work collaborativelythe ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer serviceknowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standardsthe ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as neededWhat We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
