General Manager - Commercial Roofing Full Time - Houston, TX

Compensation
$120 - $150K Annually plus 20% Bonus, Full Medical, Company Vehicle and Gas Card, Expenses, and more. Job Purpose The General Manager will provide leadership and strategic vision to the organization and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, policies, and procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide management to reporting team members and overall leadership aligning with the company's business plan and strategic vision. Assist the executive team in creating, growing, and building a world-class, industry-leading organization. Drive divisional and company results from both operational and financial perspectives, working closely with the C-Suite. Manage P&L performance including sales, operations, and finance. Review and evaluate monthly Profit and Loss statements by division to identify best practices and take corrective action where needed. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that report on productivity, resource utilization, and profitability of field operations divisions. Reinforce a culture of safety, including processes and measurements. Collaborate with field operations leaders to ensure material logistics and processes are efficient, keeping projects on time and within budget. Utilize Power BI data to assess resource needs and manage strategic partnerships for production demands. Work with vendors and suppliers to manage project opportunities and challenges. Address customer challenges or operational requests. Ensure accurate project revenue forecasting. Evaluate project job cost variances to implement best practices, countermeasures, and provide feedback to operations. Collaborate closely with the Executive team to implement operations processes, infrastructure, reporting systems, and policies to foster growth, profitability, and efficiency. Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance, and profitability in collaboration with the Executive team. Hold teams accountable to budgeted forecasts. Provide accurate and timely reports on the company's operational condition. Collaborate with the C-Suite on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Maintain knowledge of emerging trends. Conduct all business following established policies and procedures. Support and adhere to company values. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication skills. Exceptional executive presence, business acumen, high ethics, and presentation skills. Critical thinking skills, including the intuition to proactively address issues. Problem-solving ability; takes ownership, resolves issues, and communicates effectively with the team. Team player willing to complete processing tasks collaboratively. Experience/Education Requirements: 5-10+ years of executive-level operational or leadership experience. BA degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required. Working Conditions, Travel/Schedule Expectations, and Physical Demands: Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Utilization of general technology for office administration. Regular business hours, with additional hours required during certain periods. Physical demands include talking, hearing, standing, walking, using fingers, handling, or reaching with hands and arms. Traditional work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Local travel during the business day and occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be required. This document is not all-inclusive.
