Qualifications and Details about the Position
Purpose
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the turnaround organization in the petrochemical industry, ensuring safety, quality and execution goals are met. The incumbent directs the efforts of their team to effectively comply with company and client protocols, requirements and expectations for turnaround work.
Key Responsibilities
Fostering a continuous improvement process and culture focused on delivery of high-performance turnarounds (readiness reviews, post turnaround reviews with manageable actions items)
Utilization of key resources and equipment
Developing and utilizing forecasting tools for key resources and equipment
Ability to support sales and marketing efforts for business opportunities
Responsible for overseeing estimating efforts of events, ensuring scope, and estimating deliverables are defined and are met
Responsible for ensuring all projects have a right sized organization for the size and complexity of the project
Responsible for identifying and ensuring all company and client deliverables are met
Responsible for management of budgeted work scope, including change management tools and communication
Responsible for implementation of visible performance metric reports including P/A or earned value, schedule compliance, manpower staffing curves, etc. in compliance with company and client requirements
Development of financial forecasting including profit and loss responsibilities
Establishing and maintaining a productive working relationship with key company and client personnel
Ensuring all work is executed in compliance with client and company quality control standards
Providing a work environment that is consistent with company policies regarding discrimination, violence or harassment
Managing the hiring of personnel, as required, to meet workload demands
Administering subcontract and union relationships, as needed
Administering and documenting corrective action in accordance with company and/or client requirements
Provide periodic feedback on subordinates and make recommendations for improvement and wage adjustments

Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ten (10) years of Project Management experience in the petrochemical industry
8-10 years leading a team of others. Experience in staffing, hiring and training direct reports.
Significant experience using and interpreting technical maintenance manuals, drawings and specifications.
Background in routine and corrective maintenance concepts for process related facilities.
Possess a thorough knowledge of process piping systems, exchangers, drums, vessel and towers.
Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of enterprise business management software.
Experience creating, analyzing and delivering business and financial reports and data.
Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing across all levels of the organization, with clients, and other constituencies.
Maintain confidentiality around client or internal company information
