The General Manager (GM) plays a pivotal role in achieving our vision of becoming the leader in collaborative solutions, connecting people and organizations now and in the future.
The General Manager will spearhead efforts to meet sales and profit/loss objectives, develop and execute business strategies, and implement metrics and analytics to drive growth initiatives.
This role requires close collaboration with all managers and direct reports to embody our core values of innovation, teamwork, accountability, integrity, and to foster an empowered and passionate team.


Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience leading a successful technology business.
2+ years of proven management and mentoring skills in a technology design, integration, and/or support team.
Strong business acumen with strategic planning and implementation experience, including successful profit and loss (P&L) management.
Proven sales management experience.
Demonstrated success in hiring, training, motivating, and driving performance for a diverse team, including sales, operations, and administrative personnel.
Excellent communication skills, including listening, presentation, persuasion, and negotiating skills.
Exceptional decision-making and administrative skills.
Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and adaptable to different management styles and situations.
Comprehensive knowledge of Audiovisual (AV)/IT sales, operations, and administration processes and the industry in general.
Willingness to travel overnight occasionally and flexibility in scheduling to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities: Manage the branch's overall operations, including profit and loss performance, leadership, and personnel needs.
Collaborate with Executive Leadership to develop, refine, and implement strategies, plans, policies, procedures, practices, and standards aligning with the company's growth plan and business objectives.
Drive balanced growth of our technology design, integration, services, and transaction business to meet regional business objectives.
Provide accurate and timely P&L forecasts and manage regional resources to attain or exceed these forecasts.
Accompany team members on key customer interviews and high-level negotiations.
Stimulate growth by retaining, recruiting, and leading technical, operations, administrative, and sales professionals to support goal attainment.
Manage, mentor, and cultivate our team using the organization's core values.
Ensure regular employee reviews, provide coaching, and implement training plans for professional development and skills improvement.
Foster open and positive communication between sales, operations, and administrative teams to create a motivating work environment.
Demonstrate the highest level of professional and courteous conduct, lead by example, and exhibit exemplary leadership skills.
Promote commitment to long-term customer and employee satisfaction, as well as high ethical standards.
Mentor staff to strive for excellence in all aspects of work.
Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting, and operating procedures.
Maintain and follow a current Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) for the branch office staff.
