Overview Provides significant administrative support to the Government Affairs team in all functions, including lobbying, research, writing, scheduling, database management, and coordinating relationships with VNS Health internal and external stakeholders.
Works under moderate supervision.
Compensation Range: $77,200.00 - $96,500.00 Annual

Coordinates participation and ensures appropriate follow-up.
Participates in meetings as needed. Provides general administrative office support, including answering and making phone calls, typing, photocopying, and opening and distributing mail. Maintains and updates contact management databases, including but not limited to government and advocate lists, ensuring accurate geomapping of patients, members, and employees. Produces internal and external communications material including graphically designed material and email communications. Maintains tracking dashboard for team priorities and weekly team meetings. Supports Government Affairs interns, including participating in the interview process, onboarding, and workplans. Coordinates travel arrangements as needed. Manages calendars and prepares submissions for city and state lobbying reporting. Supports government grants management and reporting. Maintains organization of the government affairs file system. Processes and tracks contracts, invoices, and expense reports. Orders supplies and materials; manages shipping and delivery of materials as needed. Demonstrates a commitment to excellent customer service through prompt responses to internal and external customers. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree required Work Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role, preferably connected to government relations or lobbying required Proficiency with social media and modern software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel (including PivotTables), PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams required Proficiency in Salesforce and geomapping software preferred Demonstrated strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills required Must be a team player with a high degree of initiative and professionalism, willing to assist at 'crunch' times (before meetings or other important deadlines).
