What you'll do As the Growth Global Prospecting - Commercial Segment Director, you are a highly experienced and strategic-minded leader responsible for leading the development and execution of our Global Commercial Business Segment Prospecting strategy. You will be responsible for aligning sales and marketing goals with Sales Development (Sales Dev) objectives specific to Commercial segment pipeline creation, driving innovation in prospecting methodologies, identifying and creating scalable customer engagement motions that get results, and optimizing conversion rates through insightful data analysis.
In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Sr. Growth Global Prospecting Director and other leaders on Docusign's Global Prospecting strategy, as well as own and drive in-market execution, operational efficiency, and innovation. You will diagnose and implement process improvements including automation, communications, and cross-team collaboration to optimize pipeline creation and velocity success of the organization. Partnering with FP&A, Strategy, and Analytics teams you will work to align initiative goals and processes, establishing a clear link between strategic goals, execution and return on investment. You will test and learn new ways of scaling and accelerating impact of prospecting inclusive of surfacing and scaling regional best practices globally, in order to foster a thriving culture of delivering results and teamwork.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Growth Global Prospecting Director.
Responsibility Develop a clear Commercial Business segment Prospecting strategy and execution plan to enhance the overall Prospecting strategy and drive efficiencyAct as the primary owner of Commercial Business segment Prospecting, work with and across our Executive Leadership team to define goals, align them cross-functionally and build an implementation and execution roadmap working backwards from impactDrive the evolution of Commercial Business segment pipeline creation and acceleration methodologies and strategies to keep the organization ahead of industry trendsSupport the development of operational system improvements and reviews to drive progress on the organization's Commercial Business segment pipeline goals and strategySupport the Annual Priority for this workstream that supports Prospecting 2.0 and spans the Growth and Field Sales organizations and adjacent teamsCollaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to set goals with Sales Development capacityPartner with the Sales and Marketing organizations to develop a connected execution plan for Prospecting strategy and executionAssess the performance of various Prospecting motions, engagement channels, and adjust strategies accordinglyImplement a closed-loop feedback mechanism to optimize Prospecting conversion rates and enhance collaboration between Sales and MarketingWork cross-functionally to surface insights on productivity and effectiveness metrics related to Prospecting conversionMonitor and report performance against established goals, providing actionable insights for continuous improvementEvaluate and refine processes to ensure alignment with company objectivesPartner with Sales and Marketing Strategy and Operations to define and communicate business requirements to the Data and Technology Services (DTS)Ensure seamless communication and collaboration to enhance prospecting capabilities and efficiency Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. What you bring Basic BA or BS degree in a business/quantitative field or equivalent work experience12+ years of experience in Sales Development, Global Prospecting, or GTM Strategy and Operations rolesExperience leading functional and cross-functional projects and teamsExperience working with product and B2B sales teams at all levelsExperience with multi-product sales processes in a SaaS environmentPreferred Advanced degreeExperience in leading Prospecting go to market motions across sales dev, sales, marketing and Partner orgsSuperb communication and problem-solving skillsTrack-record in driving cross-functional and global groups Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington: $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary
