Imagine this, the year is 2050 and we did it!
We decarbonised the UK energy system and you played a pivotal role.
Your vision, influencing skills and tenacity led to the changes needed to help the design of future energy policy and the role of markets in the UK, promoting actions that supported the delivery of a net-zero economy.
How?
It all starts now…
National Grid are currently seeking someone who can help create and deliver our vision on the future of the UK Energy Markets.
Someone who can be our voice on the broader energy market and be a thought leader both internally and externally.
This brand-new position is a CEO priority for the business where you will have influence over the design of future energy policy and help to deliver a net-zero economy.
You will need to be an expert on non-network energy sector policy and regulation, likely from wholesale markets, ancillary markets or an energy systems background.
At National Grid, we share the belief that we need to stand for something beyond profit.
We have a responsibility to demonstrate our contribution to society more broadly, whether that's helping the young people of today to become the energy problem-solvers of tomorrow, supporting our customers to use energy more efficiently, or tackling climate change by targeting net zero for our own emissions by 2050.
If you want to be a leading part in that change, then apply directly or contact Alice Heffernan.
