This Role in Summary:
The Head of Global Brand Capability and Transformation will spearhead the development and execution of a global brand management excellence program, ensuring consistent and scalable brand-building capabilities across our portfolio. This role is pivotal in coaching and empowering regional brand teams to elevate brand strategy and performance, while adapting to market needs. You will create frameworks, deliver training, and share best practices that will drive commercial growth and long-term brand equity in a fast-changing, competitive landscape. This is a unique leadership role for someone passionate about advancing global brand excellence and growth, driving impact through the development of best-in-class brand management capabilities and talent.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Brand Capability Development: Establish, evolve, and embed a global brand management framework that enhances the organization's ability to consistently execute world-class brand strategy, positioning, and campaigns across diverse markets.
Growth-Driven Training Program Leadership: Design and lead training programs aimed at upskilling teams in the art and science of brand building, from foundational principles to advanced techniques, with a focus on driving tangible business growth.
Global Brand Playbook Creation and Optimization: Develop and continually update a comprehensive brand management playbook that aligns strategic objectives with day-to-day executional excellence, ensuring global consistency while allowing for regional adaptation.
Best Practice Integration: Foster a culture of learning by curating and sharing global best practices, case studies, and innovative approaches to brand management, equipping teams with impactful, practical insights.
Commercial Growth Enablement: Support regional teams in translating brand strategies into market growth by equipping them with tools and frameworks to identify and leverage opportunities for commercial expansion and customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Innovation, Consumer Insights, Digital, Commercial) to ensure brand strategies are effectively integrated across all business areas.
Global Brand Leadership and Influence: Serve as a global thought leader and coach, influencing senior stakeholders and regional leaders to champion and adopt brand management best practices that drive competitive advantage.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in global brand management or marketing leadership roles within high-growth, consumer-focused companies.
Minimum of 3 years of experience building and deploying global frameworks, across multiple markets and regional nuances, with a focus on brand strategies, brand transformation, brand capabilities, and/or commercial growth.
Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering high-impact training and capability-building initiatives, with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and influence global teams.
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
MBA or advanced degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a global or multi-faceted organization, with proven ability to handle complex global projects, with multiple stakeholders, through to implementation.
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and operationally, with a focus on driving brand value and growth through innovative capability development and training.
Strong understanding of brand-building, media, and data-driven marketing, with the ability to integrate these elements into a global brand framework.
Proven experience in leveraging brand management practices to drive business growth, identify market opportunities, and enhance customer engagement across global regions.
Expert at building and fostering strong partnerships across business functions and regions, with a proven ability to drive stakeholder buy-in and alignment.
