The Healthcare Project Manager provides on-site direction for all aspects of construction for their assigned project.
Manage project costs to ensure completion within budget expectations.
Develop the project schedule in critical path steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
Responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Also responsible for the leadership and development of the project staff.
Project manager is responsible for ensuring that the project meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities Supervision of Quality Managers, Office Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and Assistant Administrative AssistantsAssure that projects are staffed correctlyPlan and hold estimating hand off meetingPlan and hold project kick off meetingAssure that project planning meetings are heldAssure that pre-planning processes are followedAssist project team with project risk management strategyAnalyze and write subcontractsCreate subcontractor bid tabsInitiate pre-qualifications of potential subsReview with Superintendent all purchases for material, rental equipment, and forming systemsPrepare and submit proposed changes to OwnerChair weekly project meetingsPrepare monthly billing to OwnerMaintain proposed changesMonitor progress and maintain project scheduleExpedite material deliveriesReview monthly job cost reports and prepare forecastsMonitor safety programResponsible for project close out including preparation of all warranties, as-built drawings and maintenance manuals Skills & Qualifications Must have healthcare/labratory project experienceDegree in the field of Construction Science or Engineering are preferred, however not required5-10 years of experience in ground up commercial construction, ground up experience healthcare.Experience with scheduling software as Primavera & Procore is preferredExperience on projects that utilized technologies such as digital plan rooms, BIM or laser scanningPreconstruction leadership on potential or negotiated projects RO Perks Competitive Salary & BenefitsPaid Maternity and Paternity leaveStructured career pathing and continuing education supportRO Refresh - Additional paid time off between Christmas and New Years Commitment to Diversity at RO
