Hiring Mechanics Heavy Equipment Mechanic Benefits: Pay: Up to $40/hr based on experienceAt least $1,600 a weekOvertime available$5K Diesel Mechanic Sign-on BonusHealth benefits starting day 1 includingMedical insuranceLife insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance coverage What you'll do: Performs preventative maintenance on all vehicles (approx. 70) every 90 days.Diesel Mechanic performs inspections on vehicles every 90 days.Diesel Mechanic repairs, as necessary, all vehicles to ensure they are safe and legal for use.Maintains registration all vehicles.Performs emergency on-road vehicle break down repairs as necessary.Maintains official vehicle records. Handles all transportation related agency inspections.Purchases all parts & supplies as needed. Insures VIK, VRS inspections are performed annually on tanker equipment.Installs PTOs, and pumps and new equipment for bulk deliveries.Assists tank farm personnel as needed with pump failures.Maintains waste oil generation and disposal records.
