Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will address the diverse mental health needs of students and collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student achievement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans tailored to individual students. Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing academic or emotional challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Participate in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Stay informed about best practices in school psychology and relevant mental health resources. Qualifications: Specialist degree (Ed.S.) or doctorate (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) in School Psychology. Valid New York license to practice as a school psychologist. Experience working in a school setting (preferred). Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
