Hospitality Internship - Security

Job Summary

This 8-12 week summer internship offers a hands-on introduction to the security operations of a large property.
As a Security Intern, you will work closely with the security team to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property assets, learning essential skills such as surveillance, emergency response, and incident reporting.
Interns will also participate in regular training on risk management and safety protocols.
In addition to gaining in-depth knowledge of hotel security, interns will have the opportunity to shadow other hotel departments, giving them a broader understanding of overall hotel operations.
This internship provides a comprehensive experience for those looking to explore a career in hotel security or hospitality management.


Requirements

Job Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in criminal justice, security management, hospitality management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on conflict resolution and guest relations.
Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in security procedures and safety protocols, with a willingness to learn about risk management in the hospitality industry.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
