**Position Title:** Hotel Housekeeper
**Job Summary:**
As a Hotel Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to a positive experience for our guests. Your commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the quality expected by our guests. While the pace may be brisk, quality remains our top priority, and your dedication to excellence will be valued.
**Supervision Received/Provided:**
You'll closely collaborate with and receive guidance from the Executive Housekeeper.
**Essential Duties:**
1. Warmly greet and assist guests as needed.
2. Maintain responsibility for assigned keys and adhere to hotel key control policies.
3. Follow procedures for entering and servicing rooms, respecting guests' privacy.
4. Strip linen, remove trash, and maintain cleanliness in assigned rooms and public areas.
5. Clean all designated public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, pool area, and more.
6. Address maintenance needs promptly and report any issues to management.
7. Assist with additional tasks as requested by management.
**Task List:**
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, public areas, and administrative offices.
- Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces as required.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and equipment.
**Other Duties:**
- Flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training sessions.
- Record accurate timekeeping in the designated system.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Report accidents, injuries, and hazards promptly.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment preferred.
