Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate in implementing agency treatment philosophy and program goals, fostering a therapeutic environment that supports skills development and transportation as needed.Build positive relationships with clients in the housing program, creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere.Perform FCS assessments and recertifications, develop individualized person-centered client goals, and support education, training, coaching, dispute resolution, and advocacy.Learn and implement the PSH Fidelity model to enhance housing support.Assist clients in acquiring and enhancing various life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, money management, symptom management, and social interaction.Provide structure and guidance tailored to each client's needs, including helping with housework schedules, organizing group shopping trips, or offering prompts for specific tasks.Encourage the development, monitoring, and achievement of housing-related goals.Maintain communication with Crisis Response Team, housing team, and clinical team, reporting observations of client mental status, conditions posing risk, and changes in client stability.Offer early identification and intervention for behaviors that may jeopardize housing stability.Take appropriate action when clients are missing, ill, injured, or facing psychiatric challenges.Document unusual events on incident reports and collaborate with agency personnel on required actions.Contribute to transitional planning for clients moving independent living situations.Minimum Qualifications: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field OR Four or more year's relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must meet agency driving requirements, including meeting the minimum age requirement of 21 years old, successfully completing a motor vehicle history check, possessing and maintaining a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and having reliable, insured transportation. LICENSURE: Eligibility for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
