Join Our Team as an HR Business Partner in the South of the UK!
Are you ready to take your HR career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join us on a 12 month FTC and help shape the future of our business. As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a critical link between our people strategy and overall business objectives, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the HR divisional plan aligned with our commercial strategy.
Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all retail locations.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in line with company policies and employment laws.
Use business and people metrics to drive HR activities and influence decision-making.
Collaborate with regional managers to assess staffing needs, particularly during peak seasons.
Work with the reward team to provide competitive pay and benefits packages.
Develop strategies to improve employee retention, focusing on retail attrition and optometrist headcount.
Coach and partner with managers across stores and the support centre.
Implement employee engagement programs to boost motivation, recognition, and retention.
Develop innovative recruitment strategies in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
Collaborate with the leadership team on talent and succession planning.
Facilitate inter-banner talent moves and participate in global HR initiatives.
Stay informed about retail industry trends and their impact on HR practices.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Demonstrable experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial KPIs in a retail setting.
Expertise in diagnosing business issues and creating people-based solutions.
Proficiency in turning data into actionable insights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Advocacy for change and support through business transitions.
Knowledge of HR functions and how to leverage relationships for optimal solutions.
