SPA has an immediate need for a HR Coordinator.
The HR Coordinator is the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance with a variety of Human Resources (HR) matters.
The position will involve day-to-day employee interaction, facilitating timely processing of employment verifications, basic benefits and leave requests, and assisting with a variety of benefit and wellness events.
The HR Coordinator will also provide some general administrative support in the HR department, as needed.
This position provides exposure to a broad array of HR functions with room for growth depending on interest and professional development goals.
Responsibilities:
Provides customer service in response to HR inquiries.
Stays up-to-date on the latest HR programs and initiatives in order to triage and provide responses to related inquiries.
Forwards complex requests to appropriate specialty HR area.Receives, tracks and engages in preliminary research related to medical leaves and benefit requests.
Assigns to appropriate team member. Processes employment verifications, incoming HR correspondence/mail, some leave requests, and general HR system administration tasks.
Supports the separation process, including processing HR actions related to end of employment for benefits, employee check-outs, and HR paperwork.
Provides general administrative support in the HR department to include scheduling appropriate conference rooms and meeting resources for HR meetings and employee events.
Provides support to the Compliance Team including general research.Other duties as assigned to provide overall support to the HR Compliance, Leaves, Benefits and Compensation Teams.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Associates Degree and 3 years of relevant experienceExperience in HR and in a customer service/help desk environment are preferredIntermediate to Advance skills with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite programsProactive and self-motivated with strong organizational skillsDetail oriented in ensuring work is completed accuratelyStrong verbal and written communication skills
