Printpack is seeking an HR Manager for their Villa Rica, GA plant location. This position will report to the HR Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business or Social Sciences, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years of HR generalist experience, leading a teamHRCI Certification desiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Experience conducting employee relations discussions, conflict management, investigations, and coaching at all levelsProblem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze situations and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situationsStrong conflict resolution skillsWorking knowledge of HR systems and proceduresAbility to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize the needs of the plant and the HR functionTrusted resource and talent coach to support plant leadershipEffective oral and written communication across multiple levels within the organizationProficient analytical skills to assess and analyze talent analyticsBusiness acumenPrevious experience within a manufacturing environmentEssential Functions:Guide and advise leaders regarding employee matters including performance coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, Individual Development Plans, Talent Reviews, succession planning, merit planning, etc.Manage complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, coaching managers, and the progressive discipline processProvide guidance on workforce planning which may include organizational re-design work, job description creation and analysis, promotions, etc.Plan and implement recruitment and selection efforts; educate hiring managers about the selection process; take proactive measures to ensure a diverse workforce and provide recommendations on hiring decisionsLead the annual performance review process and coach managers on providing constructive feedback identifying high potential performers and coaching underperforming associatesDesign and implement HR programs to support Printpack culture and support the engagement surveyLead HR team to support aligned business units and be responsible for the guidance and professional development of team members
