Position Overview:
As an HR Officer at Darling's Auto Group, you will be an integral part of our human resources team, responsible for a variety of functions that support our employees and organizational goals. The HR Officer role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process. Onboarding and Orientation: Design and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture and equipped with the necessary tools for success. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and resolving conflicts effectively. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Encourage a culture of ongoing learning and development. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with company values and comply with legal regulations. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR databases, and prepare reports on HR metrics to support decision-making processes. Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies, to mitigate risks and promote a fair workplace. Requirements: Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level positions. Experience: Relevant experience in human resources is desirable, with opportunities available for candidates at all levels, from entry-level to senior professionals. Personality Traits: We are looking for confident and resilient individuals who can navigate challenges and adapt to changing circumstances. Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, are essential for success in this role.
