Hours: 40 hours, Day Shift, Monday through Friday- 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions Prepares supply order forms and retrieves and distributes the mail for Human ResourcesResponsible for providing assistance in electronic filing of personnel, benefit and all other employee documentsMaintains and distributes all monthly and weekly (PCR, 106/108, FMLA, New Hire, HWO, etc) reports for the Human Resources Department to meet Federal and State Regulations and Heywood Hospital policies and procedures.Monitors and responds to Human Resources related requests made via e-mail, faxes (Verification of employment requests) telephone or in person by applicants, employees and managersGreets, directs, and answers questions asked by visitors entering the HR hallwayAnswers and responds to all phone calls, faxes and emails in the HR Forms Inbox and triages when and if appropriate.Provides assistance and maintains the Hospital-Wide Inservice Tracker to ensure employee records are up to date.Provides preparation for Hospital-Wide Orientation and ensures Inservice Packets are up to date and available to allemployees.Assists and conducts Hospital Wide Orientation as needed.Ensures adequate numbers of Benefit Packets are available at all times.Submits Criminal Offender Records Information (CORI) requests on all employees, and volunteers.
Keeps Human Resources Director and/or VP informed of CORI results.Enters in New Hire data into MediTech.Tracks, conducts and files primary source verifications for all required employee licenses and certifications for professional level staff as required by JCAHO standards.Attends seminars, professional meetings and educational programs that lead to professional growth.Provides administrative support to the HR Team as requested.Reports Workers Compensation cases to the appropriate external and internal contacts and follows-up on the progress of cases.Works together with co-workers and/or other departments to complete projects or assignments.Prioritizes and reprioritizes work based on the changingneeds of the department.Statement of Other Duties This document describes the major duties and responsibilities for this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
