Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team in supporting our manufacturing facility in El Mirage, AZ.
This role will be a key member of the HR team, responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, investigations, leadership development, employee engagement, staffing, compliance, training, safety, and more.
This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related queries.
Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Staffing: This role has a heavy emphasis on staffing both exempt and non-exempt roles and ensuring SME is screening and hiring top talent to enable us to build an industry best manufacturing operation.
Investigations: Lead and conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and workplace incidents, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Leadership Development: Partner with managers to identify leadership development needs and provide coaching and guidance to enhance managerial effectiveness and team performance.
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
Collaborate with managers to enhance employee morale and retention.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Stay current on HR best practices and advise management on legal and policy compliance.
Training & Skill Acquisition: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to support employee development.
Assist in developing and delivering training sessions on various HR topics.
Safety: Work with the safety team to promote a safe working environment.
Participate in safety training and initiatives to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
Other Responsibilities: Assist with other HR-related tasks as assigned, including HR reporting, performance management, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Years of progressive HR experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations; FLSA, EEOC, NLRB, etc
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Project Management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to stay organized and communicate a broad range of details effectively
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) and or graduate degrees are a plus
Experience in employee engagement initiatives and leadership development
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting
