Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for various human resources programs and initiatives including, but not limited to, new hire orientation, development and enforcement of policies and procedures, payroll, and serving as a benefit expert. Onboarding & Off-boarding • Prepare, deliver, and file all offer letters, service agreements, paperwork, and contracts • Facilitate new hire onboarding process, including required background and drug screens, client-specific documents, and conduct new-hire orientation • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS through processing all employee changes and terminations • Develop a full understanding of client requirements to ensure compliance with client contracts and required documents • Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve the onboarding process Benefits • Serve as subject matter expert for all benefit programs by quickly and accurately responding to all benefit inquiries • Assist with annual open enrollment communications, elections and adjustments Employee Relations • Handle employee grievances and escalate complex issues to leadership as needed • Document all performance and behavior-based issues • Process employee and sub-contractor queries and respond in a timely manner, including H1B documentation & letters and employment verification requests • Comply with relevant labor laws • Facilitate adherence to company policies and state/federal regulations HR Operations • Processes payroll and expense payments accurately and on-time; and answers any related questions • Actively participate in team meetings and proactively identifies areas for improvement • Understands HRIS updates and works with the team to continue to evolve company use of system • Leads or supports HR and Operational focused projects as needed Additional Responsibilities • Establish trusted working relationship with Sales and Recruiting teams to provide excellent support to affiliate and contractor employee base • Maintain various reports for Executive Leadership • Assist with event planning • Order & organize office supplies as needed Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with concentration in Human Resources or experience equivalent • 2+ years of Human Resources work experience • Experience with Bullhorn is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Customer service oriented • Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects at once • Highest level of integrity and ability to work with confidential information • Enjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment • Efficient with Microsoft products, especially Excel • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Strong follow up skills
