Description
This position's primary focus is to assist the HR and Training staff with day to day operations of the departments.
This would include scheduling trainings, interviews, and other meetings, maintaining and updating information in employee files and systems, along with other duties as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned as needed:
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR and Training Departments.Complete necessary set up and maintenance for employees within appropriate HR systems.Assist with the hiring process such as creating job postings, scheduling interviews, completing background checks and assisting in the onboarding process.Assists with compiling and updating employee file information.May assist in payroll processing.Perform and assist in special project work as assigned.Assist with content and updating information on Internal Intranet/Communication Platform.Understand and support all BSA/AML responsibilities as applicable to the position as well as consistently, accurately, and timely carry out these responsibilities in compliance with the Bank's internal policies.Assist with day to day operations of the HR and training functions and duties along with other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
At least six months of professional or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, & instructions.
Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to operate office equipment such as keyboards, telephones, etc.
and to talk and hear.
The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to stand.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
