This includes assessment,diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, andevaluation. Based on this process, theRN directs and is responsible for other personnel involved in client care. The RN maintains professional accountabilityfor all nursing care provided to clients in the organization. Demonstratescompetency in nursing judgment. Maintains awareness of economic barriers of health care and actsaccordingly. Demonstrates knowledge ofnursing care needs and treatments for clients of various clinical specialtiesin compliance with established standards of nursing practice. Will be required to work with clients 18years of age and older. Essential Functions and Duties:•Ability to organize and coordinate nursing caredelivery for clients assigned.•No performance deficiencies caused by failure toadapt to new techniques.•Ability to direct others in health care delivery. •Requires regular talking and hearing.•Must be able to stand 4-6 hours.•Provides direct client care activities ifrequired, in accordance with •defined department and organization policies andprocedures. •Requires a concentrated level of attention.•Ability to adjust the eye to bring an objectinto sharp focus. Position Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current Illinois license. B.S.N. preferred or equivalent years of experience. BLS certification required. Demonstrates clinical competence; Assumesresponsibility for own continued personal and professional growth. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate standard office equipment (i.e. copier,facsimile machine, 10-key, etc.); personal computer and printer and specificcomputer software (MS Office applications and Meditech). Physical Demands:•Requires grasping and reaching with hands/arms.•Ability to lift up to, but not limited to 25pounds when assisting clients, turning clients or assisting client withactivities.•Requires bending, stooping, and walking.•Requires good body mechanics to prevent injury.
