The Position:
Seeking a top performing lawyer for investment funds (closed-end, business development companies, REITS and private) and securities work.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a JD degree from a top tier institution and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in as many of the following areas as possible:
Closed-end registered investment companies; Registered REITs; Business development companies; Private funds; Credit asset management business; Contract and entity management; Institutional risk mitigation; Separately managed accounts; Securities Act of 1933; Securities Exchange Act of 1934; Investment Advisers Act of 1940; Investment Company Act of 1940; Legislative and regulatory changes that impact the firm and the firm's contracts (including contract negotiations); and Special projects

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 plus an annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance.
