Job Title: Indirect Sourcing Manager Reports To: VP Supply Chain Position Summary The Indirect Sourcing Manager leads all sourcing related activities for a defined set of indirect spend categories, with the goal of driving productivity through reductions in total cost of ownership, while at the same time improving product quality and supplier service levels. In addition, this individual will play a key role in managing not only strategic supplier relationships, but also act as the liaison and CCI partner with the corporate Supply Chain organization.
Responsibilities and Duties Overall ownership of indirect commodities as assigned. Major focus on cost reduction, standardization, and elimination of spend. Champion the implementation and use of the Zycus tool from a commodity, categorization, spend analysis and reporting standpoint. Represent CCI as a participating member of the Corporate Indirect Supply Chain Council. Partner with other Crane business units to aggregate like products to drive lower cost of ownership. Lead an internal cross functional (Commodity Management) team consisting of representatives from Operations, Finance and Accounts Payable responsible for commodity strategy and implementation. Measure and communicate opportunities and savings both internally and externally. Measure supplier performance and internal participation to all initiatives. Track and report cost savings and supplier performance through a standardized set of KPI's. Conduct regular supplier business reviews. Communicate project updates to all stakeholders. Leader for positive change. Qualifications and Competencies College degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or other supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Certification as CSCP or CPM and/or crossfunctional project management experience is a plus. Minimum one year of management experience. Proven negotiation skills. Capital/MRO procurement experience. Solid Communication and Inter-personal Skills. Strong initiative/ self-starter. Developed Analytical Skills. Ability to work in a matrixed environment. Demonstrated ability to lead project groups, set strategic/task direction. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in internal and external organizations.
