Industrial Engineer (CI Engineer) The Industrial Engineer is an innovative thinker and problem solver that leads in creating, developing, and deploying process improvements to support a safe and efficient lean manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities:Executes manufacturing "CI" assignments with/without supervision in the value stream. Create flow by implementing a lean manufacturing system that aligns with strategic objects. Including installation of assembly lines, material pull systems, and u-shaped cells.Evaluates, assists and able to implement efficiency improvements in determined processes or equipment as assigned with and without guidance.Evaluates and performs time studies and process observations for efficiency improvements and line balancing.Develops and maintain standard work and other visual management tools.Projects may include new and improved layout proposals to improve material and process flow.Work safely utilizing PPE and following all safety procedures.Follow all inventory control procedures while implementing Kanban processes.Assist in training of the necessary Lean transformation tools and techniques as required.Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications:BS in industrial Engineering.Experience in a Lean Environment/Culture and a Continuous Improvement role.Basic CAD experience required.Lean basic knowledge required and "practical application" of Lean Tools.Strong experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.Ability to communicate with co-workers and management in a productive manner."Proven" Ability to "Drive and Develop" Kaizen activity in a Manufacturing environmentAbility to use hand tools as needed.Self-motivated – "Driver" type personality and strives for Accuracy and Proficiency at assigned tasks.Must support and display Quikserv Core Principles while leading by example in Safety & Quality.Physical Demands:Must support Ability to lift 50 lbs.Frequent standing, bending, and walking.
