The primary responsibilities include engaging existing customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions. Prior B2B Industrial sales experience with manufacturing related products and services is preferred. An ideal candidate has a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to transition into sales. In this role you will be counted on to:Manage a large portfolio of customer accounts covering a full sales cycle from lead qualifications to working on large engineering design proposals.Work with targeted companies to identify key contacts, uncover and create opportunities to drive growth of the sales funnel; relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Be in close contact with design engineers, mechanical engineers, buyers or other engineering professionals and technical personnel at companies defined in your assigned territory. Make phone and online sales presentations to prospective customers communicating an understanding of the products available from MISUMI.Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunitiesPartner with sales and marketing leaders to develop a targeted account strategy. Identify target companies in specific industry segments and/or geographical regions, and develop and execute a communication strategy via phone, email and other channels.Keep abreast of the company's products, industry and relevant technologies to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers.Learn and follow our Customer Relationship Management processes and use SalesForce to document your interactions with clients. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business Admin. Or Communications desirable.Minimum 3 years of B2B Industrial sales experience with manufacturing related products and services within the manufacturing industry desirable.Requires a self-motivated individual with an enthusiastic phone personality.Familiarity with a variety of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures is key.Good communications at all levels with excellent consultative selling skills.Working knowledge of contact resource management systems is desirable.A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and how they would apply to real world projects.Strong proficiency in using MSWord/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook.Excellent professional writing skills for communicating both internally and externally.
