The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating, curating, and delivering high-quality training materials and learning experiences across multiple platforms.
This role will blend instructional design with videography, producing engaging video-based training and educational content.

JOB DUTIES Design and develop instructional materials for various learning formats, including e-learning, video tutorials, animation, presentations, and blended learning.Lead the production and editing of video-based training modules.Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate them into engaging and effective instructional content.Implement instructional strategies, such as simulations, job aids, role-playing, and interactive modules, to enhance the learning experience.Manage the end-to-end process of video creation, including scripting, filming, and post-production.Ensure all materials adhere to adult learning principles, and align with company goals and brand standards.Optimize content for multiple platforms (LMS, mobile, web).Work closely with internal teams to update training materials.Stay current with industry trends in instructional design, e-learning, and videography.Utilize feedback and data to continuously improve training materials and learner engagement. QUALIFICATIONS: Professional fluency in Spanish - you can write and edit video scripts and deliver voice over training.Strong videography skills - at least 3 years of experience including storyboarding, filming, and video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development - you have at least 2 years owning all stages of the ADDIE model.Expertise in adult learning theory - you actively research and are excited about and instructional design industry innovation.Highly flexible - you understand and adjust to evolving business needs and stakeholder expectations.Graphic design/animation, LMS, e-learning and fluency - you're confident in systems like Absorb, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Audition, Illustrator, Articulate 360 and Captivate.Excellent written and verbal communication - you can connect with audiences from entry-level to executive with clarity and confidence.High sense of ownership - you own your deadlines, organize your priorities, and execute with consistency and attention to detail.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time - you can travel between our Utah, Idaho, and Arizona offices and are comfortable heading to jobsites.Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, or a related field highly preferred.
