Qualifications: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a varied caseload Strong communication and organizational skills 0-5 years' experience in insurance defense JD from an accredited law school Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to provide a writing sample Key Responsibilities: Efficiently manage discovery in multiple litigated matters Collaborate with lead counsel and colleagues to devise defense strategies Prepare and review legal pleadings Conduct depositions and other discovery proceedings Perform legal research and analysis Maintain a consistent schedule of hearings, meetings and depositions Represent clients in court as needed Work collaboratively within a team, engaging with lead counsel, other attorneys, and support staff Prepare and argue motions in court, including summary judgment and discovery motions Work closely with clients to develop case strategies and provide regular updates on case progress Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits package Opportunity for hybrid How to Apply: For additional information on this opportunity, please contact Heather at (605) 401-6061.
