Insurance Defense Attorney

Overview We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our insurance staff counsel team at a Fortune 50 company.
The ideal candidate will handle a high-volume caseload and demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures.
This is a hybrid role, with both in-office and virtual work arrangements.

Responsibilities Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures Possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills Manage a busy time-sensitive caseload independently Qualifications Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the New York state bar 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience Experience working in a paperless environment Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience) Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary Office Location: 300 Jericho Quadrangle, Suite 260, Jericho, NY 11753
