Assist the Senior Clinical Supervisor with interviews and admissions into Sojourner House residential treatment programs.
Responsibilities: Assist with inquiries regarding the treatment program.
Assist in maintaining census numbers.
Schedule and conduct interviews to determine the individual's eligibility for the program.
Assist the clinical staff in performing the assessment of applicants to determine the level of care or the appropriateness of the program for the individual.
Maintain monthly state and county billing for auditing purposes.
Assist in maintaining and updating residential statistical sheets for all clients.
Assist the clinical staff in the documentation of various forms as required.
Implement 12 Step Program through Narcotics Anonymous to properly present the program's methods of rehabilitation including trauma informed care.
Provide referral sources to consumers for housing, other treatment facility facilities.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the clinical senior supervisor.
Skills / Knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent documentation skills Diplomatic and possess a professional demeanor Well organized and a good planner ASAM trained- Certified and or within 90 days of employment.
Understand the nature of the disease of drug addiction and alcoholism Education / Training: High school Diploma minimum.
Certified Recovery Specialist Designation.
Two to three years of related work experience in admissions and or intake procedures preferred.
Special Conditions:
If currently in recovery from addict or alcoholic, must have three years of continuous abstinence from drugs and/or alcohol, and must be willing to undergo random drug screenings.
Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, and boosted.
If not Vaccinated, must sign a form making employer aware.
