The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is for delivering smart building technology and integrated solutions to our customers. Ideal candidates will create and implement operational delivery strategies and work closely with the branch sales teams and Zone Security Sales manager. In this role, you will use your strong leadership skills and passion for team building to find and hire top talent, develop employees, and promote long-term retention.Why is this important? The right candidate will manage the revenue and gross margin to targets by controlling job costs and executing projects on time.Siemens Smart Infrastructure is currently searching for an Operations Manager for our Integrated Security Operations team that AstheIntegratedSecuritySolutions Operations Manager, you will:Oversee the installation and deploymentof fully integrated securitysystems consisting of but not limited toaccess control, distributed video surveillance systemsand CCTV andcloud-basedsystemsSupervise, train, and mentor the team through goal setting, performance monitoring, employee review meetings, and scheduling of formal trainingManage revenue, gross margin, and absorption to achieve monthly and annual business plan projections and forecastsDirect and supervise the development of project plans tomonitorand control the progress in the execution of workEnsure schedules aremaintainedand projectsproceed in accordance withthe contract documents and customer expectationsPlan and justifymanpower, staffing requirements, tools, and otherappropriate investmentsfor effective andtimelyexecution of workProvide technical and operational support for the sales teams with pricing and scope-of-work definition for project opportunitiesMaintain relationships between Operations and Sales teams so project details, changes, and plan discrepancies can be managed to minimize cost and delays throughout the estimating,biddingand operations phases of each projectSupport project productivity and profitability through cost-containment procedures and processesTravel overnight 30% on average for training, coaching, mentoring, and project planningYou will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic Qualifications:?Up to8Years ofexperience supervising teamsUp to7Years ofexperience with project management5+years ofexperience with Security Systems, CCTV, Access control, VMS systems.Must be able todemonstrate:Organizational and interpersonal skillsAn understanding of job financial reportingand theability to apply cost control measures for projects?Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office??Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMust be21years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations?Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:?Bachelor's degree orAssociatedegree from a two-year college or technical school8+ Years of Experience supervising teams7+ Years of Experience in project managementYou'll benefitfrom:?Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
