LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY Responsibilities are varied but related to primary focus of job area. May work outside area of assigned duties. Routine duties based on detailed instruction. Works under direct supervision. Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides. Refers complex issues to higher levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS • Work is performed in an office environment utilizing office equipment including a computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse.
• Work is often performed with short deadlines and may involve sensitive matters requiring objectivity and confidentiality.
• May be required to work non-standard hours.
• May travel occasionally to Company locations for meetings or events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Expected basic understanding of Software development principles.
• Basic SQL and ETL knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills and a customer focus mindset.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data standards and quality requirements.
• Engage in the verification and quality control processes to pinpoint and address discrepancies.
• Document ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings for future references and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in identifying and resolving ETL job failures or data integrations issues.
• Provide support to end-users and other stakeholders regarding data-related queries or concerns.
REQUIREMENTS • A student currently working towards a degree in a Business discipline e.g. Business Management, Business Administration, etc., Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Information Technology, Supply Chain or other related discipline.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in Business Analytics and with SQL and ETL.
