We are currently seeking a proactive and creative Internal Communication Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal communication strategies and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and information sharing. This position works in a team environment at our office in Lexington, KY. This is not a remote position.
This is a paid internship.
This position reports to the Director of Communication.
Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of internal communication plans that align with organizational goals.Create and edit content for internal channels, including newsletters, emails, and the company intranet.Support the organization of internal events and initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement.Help gather and analyze employee feedback to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts.Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging across all internal communications.Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving communication processes and tools. Working Conditions The general working conditions are in a climate-controlled office setting. Physical Requirements The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, or crouch.
