Become an Interventional/Neuro Radiology Technologist at Avera McKennan. Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. $10,000 sign-on bonus! Position Highlights: May be eligible for $10,000 sign-on bonus paid out over 24 months! Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster. Be a part of a rewarding team while providing outstanding care to a variety of patients. We offer a wide variety of neuro interventions, from diagnostic cerebral angiograms to advanced endovascular interventions.  Aneurysm embolization, stroke thrombectomy, and carotid stenting to name a few. The interdisciplinary team consists of an Endovascular Surgery trained Vascular Neurologist, an Advanced Practice Provider, 18 Registered Nurses and 14 Registered Radiology/Cardiology Technologists.  Comprehensive on the job training Excellent benefits: health, dental, vision and paid time off, as well as a competitive salary Job Summary The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing specialized procedures using sterile techniques and specialized equipment.


Education and/or Experience Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program is required. Certification/Licensure/Registrations ARRT (R) registered or RCIS is required within 60 days of completing an accredited program. Signature of NRC Confirmatory Order Communication is required. Work Schedule Varied Shifts: 7:00am-5:00pm, with weekend/holiday/call involvement; 72 hours every 2 weeks
