We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Specialist to join our warehouse team.
The Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving inventory issues efficiently.
This is a hands-on role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties Include Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.
Work closely with warehouse team members to coordinate inventory activities and address inventory-related issues.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the system and update inventory levels as necessary.
Perform regular audits of inventory processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
Assist in the implementation of inventory control measures to optimize inventory management processes.
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to coordinate inventory movements and ensure inventory availability.
Participate in periodic inventory reconciliation activities to validate inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
Qualifications Education and Training High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
Forklift experience (stand up is a plus) Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory management within a warehouse environment.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborate across departments.
