Job Title: Inventory Lead

Key Responsibilities
Maintains a perpetual inventory of materials, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items.
Records purchases, maintains the database, performs a physical count of inventory, reconciles actual stock count
to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase
invoices to obtain current inventory levels.
Verifies clerical computations against the physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count.
Investigates and report reasons for discrepancies.
Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods.
Re-stocks items as necessary.
Labels shelves.
Liaises with vendors and purchasing agents and prepares deliveries.
May perform other routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
Qualifications
Performs work under minimal supervision.
Handles complex issues and problems and refers only to the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
Typically requires a high school diploma and 4 to 6 years of experience.
