Our engineering program management group drives program/project development activities and discussions with an exceptionally diverse collection of personalities and ideas. As an iPhone HW EPM, you will work with a cross-functional team of skilled Electrical and Mechanical engineers, and use your solid EE/CE/ME background to recognize, assess, and communicate issues and risks. This will include planning, release, and delivery of HW sub-systems like flexible printed circuit boards, development boards or printed circuit boards that are an integral part of iPhone system product development. Together with our team, you will continue to uphold and contribute to the Apple product development process and help deliver the world's most successful portable consumer products!
Description Lead multi-functional development teams for various system HW sub-systems: flex-PCBAs, PCBAs, development boardsManage and track engineering development schedules and budgetsIdentify and prioritize project tasks and risksDrive deliveries and issues with global suppliers, integrate their work and schedules into the project, communicate status and the big picture to the project team & managementSynchronize the project with the Apple development processMinimum Qualifications 1-4+ years of project management experiencePreferred Qualifications Strong technical background in either EE or ME. Mechatronics background is a plusExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsDetail-oriented, inquisitive, able to effectively manage complex scenarios while maintaining a high quality work productSelf-motivated and proactive problem-solverExperienced in setting up program/project schedules and work breakdown structuresAbility to travel internationally to support buildsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
