Information Technology Analyst The Information Technology Analyst assists the Information Technology Administrator in the management of Information Systems, focusing on Recruiting Technologies, and provides support to end users on the day-to-day functionality of the systems.
This Contract position can be 100% remote but would require a minimum of quarterly paid travel to Headquarters in Columbia MO.
Position Overview The Information Technology Analyst will support our IT department.
This position is designed for someone passionate about technology, business systems analysis, and contributing to the success of complex projects.
This role will be focused on general IT systems, specifically around SaaS Applications and Infrastructure (Primarily cloud-based, with some on-premise systems) Should know about Google Cloud , including design & administration; knowledge of AWS is preferred but not required Our Client's vertical is Split into three trees: Information Technology and Infrastructure (where this will live), People Systems (Workday & ATS), and Financial Systems (ERP, etc.)
This position will be part of the IT & Infrastructure space, but will interface with the others as needed, so knowledge of Workday and ERPs is desired, but that will not be the day-to-day.
This would be an intermediate role.
Prefer a minimum of 5 years of IT Business Analyst experience in IT and infrastructure, but more is better.
Strong possibility that this could become a Contract-to-Hire; however, decisions to convert would be based on the business needs at the time as well as the performance of the individual.
Primary Responsibilities Build and maintain efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs Interact with stakeholders to understand and refine their requirements Review and develop functional and technical specifications Work together with developers to build and implement technology solutions Oversee the integration of multiple systems and reconcile the needs of different teams Collect feedback from end users about system performance Provide consulting and technical training services Stay informed about the latest technology trends and developments Develop testing scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing ( UAT ) of assigned systems before scheduled releases and updates.
Identify communication needs based on changes to systems/operating procedures and work with the Information Technology Administrator to develop and execute the communication plan.
Shadow and assist in the planning, executing, and closing technical projects.
Support project managers in tracking & reporting on project progress, milestones, and deliverables using project management software.
Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document minutes.
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients to clearly understand project objectives and timelines.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
Support the project team in identifying and resolving issues and risks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
Perform administrative tasks as needed to support project completion.

Education and Experience A Bachelor's or Master's program in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field.
Strong interest in technology and project management, familiarity with technical transformation, and continual Improvement pipeline is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of formulas, pivot tables and macros are a plus Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, waterfall, hybrid) is a plus.
Document process flows of information for key business processes, identifying the systems, risks, key reports used, and relevant internal controls with respect to the project lifecycle.
