It Infrastructure Team Lead

An industry-leading global Industrial Machine Manufacturing company is seeking a IT Infrastructure Team Lead for their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team invested in leveraging modern technology to improve company operations.

This is a direct-hire position that is unable to offer sponsor or transfer of work visas at this time. The company practices an on-site work environment in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Job responsibilities include:
Provide technical guidance and support across different areas of infrastructure projects and tasks.
Support several technical environments including but not limited to: LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MS Server ******** , Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare), Azure, etc.
Assists in the creation and implementation of security solutions, which may include conducting vendor risk assessments.
Implements new or upgraded security measures or controls, and documents system or process changes.
Responsible for system operation, architectural input, developing and maintaining our cloud environment.
Mentor the Infrastructure team members.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:
5+ years of Infrastructure related experience in areas such as networking, server, cloud (Azure) and cybersecurity operations, etc.
Moderate knowledge of networking fundamentals (Switches, routers, wireless, firewalls etc.).
Moderate knowledge of server environments hardware and software.
Moderate knowledge of cloud (Azure).
Moderate knowledge of security-related technologies and their functions (IDS, IPS, EDR, IRP, FW, WAF, SIEM, etc.).
Basic scripting experience.
