ASSYST is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO). This role is essential for coordinating and delivering high-quality services to our Government clients. The Project Manager will collaborate with various internal teams, business development units, and key stakeholders, including government personnel and agency representatives, to ensure successful project execution. By working closely with business development and delivery teams, the Project Manager will play a critical role in shaping solution strategies, defining architectures, and overseeing proof of concepts, schedules, and cost estimates. This position requires US Citizenship with the ability to obtain background clearance Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring alignment with scope, resources, schedule, and budget requirements. Coordinate project activities and associated deliverables, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met. Develop and manage high-level project plans, tracking interdependencies and monitoring the progress of all program components. Ensure that program benefits are realized by overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle and coordinating with various stakeholders. Facilitate effective coordination and communication across multiple divisions within the client organization to drive project success. Organize and lead regular project reviews with staff and leadership to ensure consistent reporting, visibility, and alignment with project goals. Establish and nurture strategic, cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders, peers, and team members to collaboratively resolve challenges, enhance processes, and meet objectives. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery. Qualifications: At least 5-7 years of IT project management experience, including managing projects in the Federal Government sector. Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Advanced knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum frameworks. Demonstrated expertise in planning, developing, and leading project management activities, including conducting kick-off meetings, creating project management plans, and managing schedules and resources. Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise project documentation. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
