Major Duties (Job Description) You will provide intermediate to moderate-level oversight and governance of acquisition programs Information Systems Security.You will utilize intermediate level technical knowledge and skills to provide oversight and management of the application of IA/cybersecurity principles and methods.You will provide project leadership and IA/cybersecurity policy guidance and development to ensure compliance with established requirements.You will coordination with other computer technical specialists, project managers, engineers, and contractors within and outside of the command to ensure timely and effective management of resources.You will be required to coordinate with other computer technical specialists, project managers, engineers, and contractors within and outside of the command to ensure timely and effective management of resources.Qualification Summary Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors.

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies helping execute and accomplish organizational goals and objectives.

Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the workforce communicating organizational goals and objectives while aligning with the command's initiatives.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analysis, reporting, coordinating, and facilitating working groups to meet and resolve project objectives.
In addition: NO-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Apply cybersecurity expertise in areas such as risk analysis, system hardening, and compliance oversight, while leading projects, advising stakeholders, and coordinating with teams to ensure security standards are met.
NO-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee cybersecurity for major programs, ensuring compliance with IA standards, leading projects, advising stakeholders, and coordinating resources.
The incumbent will also mentor junior IT and cybersecurity professionals.
