AbilityPath is looking for a Job Coach to join our team serving the Santa Clara County! The Job Coach promotes empowerment and independent living for individuals who may have physical and/or intellectual disabilities through community based vocational training and support. Compensation: $23-$24 per hour

Part Time position- 20 hours a week

ABOUT THE ROLE: Assess and assist in development of participant's abilities as detailed in the Individual Habilitation Service Plan, as assigned Develop of Individual Habilitation Service Plans for participants, as assigned Analyze work situations or tasks & break down into teachable components according to individual training needs Must be able to travel to various sites Ensure participant understanding of employment rights and responsibilities Act as a representative of the agency in furthering its objectives and advocating for improvements in the quality of life for persons with intellectual disabilities Ability to provide engaging instruction to participants with various developmental levels, skill sets, and behaviors Ability to respond to challenging behaviors and support behavioral plans to increase engagement Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: In our approach to inclusive hiring, we recognize that job qualifications within hiring policies have been used to exclude candidates from marginalized backgrounds. Associate's or Bachelor's in relevant field  Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities  HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver's License/ID  Clean Driving Record (if applicable) Proof of negative TB test results  Verification of occupational physical clearance Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance  18 years of age or job permit clearance Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination + first booster  PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Employees have the opportunity to share access needs during the interview process, upon hire, and ongoing throughout their employment.
