Description of tasks (This is a brief summary of the hiring department and the tasks of the function):
The Professional Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating training related aspects of the Public Health Infrastructure project with the NYSDOH, including assuring that the deliverables are met on time and within budget. The coordinator will also serve as a member of the Center for Public Health Education team in overall planning an organizational improvement.
Minimum Qualifications (Both measurable and soft skill requirements): »Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization in a health profession, nursing, health education, public health, human services, social work, adult education, or related field
»Minimum of 3 years of professional practice in the coordination of a public health or human services located training and professional development program
» practice implementing a training plan or timeline.
» practice working with a team of professionals to accomplish project-located deliverables
»Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects.
»Evidence of organizational expertise and strong attention to detail
»Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication expertise
