A full-time position would require working between 30-40 hours a week, which include a combination of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The ideal candidate: is self-motivated and works well independently as well as on a teamhas strong communication & leadership skillsis hard-working and reliablebelieves in superior customer service and is solution-oriented is physically able to perform all duties associated with the Kennel Technician (Pack Leader) position Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work hand in hand with staff to ensure an excellent standard of care for petsProvide an outstanding level of customer service to clients and staffPerform?regular kennel/daycare duties alongside staff (animal care, monitoring playgroups, feeding and cleaning, laundry, etc.)Maintaining the schedule and staffing of the departmentHiring, training and corrective action with staffAnnual performance reviews of daycare staff and regular one on one development meetingsAttending weekly, quarterly, and annual collaborative leadership meetingsPayrollHelping to implement new department procedures in collaboration with Leadership TeamSupervising, mentoring, and training staffOversight of ordering or requesting orders of suppliesNotifying PM of any facilities issuesFostering our Core Values and desired culture within the departmentWorking with the executive manager to develop new servicesMeeting and exceeding revenue and labor goalsAssisting in event planning.Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a rate annual salary ranging from $50,000-$60,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
