Palace Entertainment is a leading leisure park operator in the United States and Australia overseeing more than 25 entertainment venues, hotels and educational venues across 11 different states.

Work in all areas of electrical and sound maintenance during all phases of the year. Assists in managing the policies, objectives and initiatives for the department, park and company. Works to manage the stock of available parts for all rides, attractions and shop consumable products. Completes daily safety inspections as needed during operating season giving support and assistance to other Electrical Maintenance Team members, Ride Maintenance Team, Rides Maintenance Manager, Department Director, and other Departments as needed throughout the year.

Roles & Responsibilities: Leads by example showing good work ethics and positive attitudesHelp in managing the daily electrical maintenance of the rides, attractions, food stands, stages, and CCTV throughout the facility.Reviews, creates and/or helps to develop documents to ensure adherence to policies, procedures and standards for the industry.Research new trends and advances in products which helps to keep us up on new technologiesManage routine administrative tasks as they relate to the electrical maintenance of the rides, attractions, food stands, stages, and CCTV.A wide degree of creativity, latitude and understanding is expected while working with the team.Work nights and weekends as needed during the season April – January.Be a Team Player by showing positive team growth, positive team direction and positive team attitudes.Works closely with Electrical Superintendent to provide departmental assistance in the work plan for assigned projects and responsibilities as required.Requirements: Education: Minimum - High School diploma required, 5+ years of relative work experience associated with the position or 3+ years of relative college, trade school schooling, or technical degree preferred.

Understand and apply the NEC to all projects.3+ years of control / PLC experience preferred.3+ years of power distribution.Ability to troubleshoot simple to complex electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems/circuits.Ability to read, follow and understand blueprints.Ability to create material take off, layout projects and install components according to drawings.Ability to terminate all types of cable with different types of ends; cat 6e, fiber optic, small gauge copper to 500MCM.Understand and work with CMMS – Infor EAM.Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the industry or related areas (i.e., Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing).Other: OSHA 10-hour related trainings, Forklift Certified (after first year), Aerial Platform Certified (after first year).
